20 Fenchurch lovingly nicknamed The Walkie-Talkie building because of its distinctive shape benefits from having 2,000 Diffusion fan coil units operating throughout the building. The 34-storey building is 160 m (525 ft) tall, making it the fifth-tallest building in the City of London.
The specification asked Diffusion to reach Specific Fan Power levels of 0.19 W/l/s, however utilising the skills of our in-house technical development team, we exceeded the specification and supplied Fan Coil Units with SFP’s of just 0.17 W/l/s.
Joint-developers Land Securities and Canary Wharf Group completed the project in 2014.
