Royal Opera House

Royal Opera House

Diffusion has successfully supplied the Royal Opera House at Covent Garden with recessed Oasis electric over door heater units. The units are being used in conjunction with Kampmann fan assisted trench heaters in the famous Railway Carriage bar area, which is located outside of the auditorium on Bow Street. A timber framed listed conservatory building, located inside the Portico on the main front elevation, which is used for special functions, had previously been forced to close during the winter months, due to the cold. The popular Oasis unit provides a stream of warm air over a door entrance, and is available in lengths of 1000 & 1500mm, and can be supplied for use on either LPHW (low pressure, hot water) or electric systems. It can be tailored to fit most doorways. The Kampmann fan assisted trench heating has been supplied in both electric and hot water to maximise the heat output in this single glazed part of the building.

The modular construction of the unit enables it to be mounted adjacent to each other to fit virtually any door entrance. If no heating is required the Oasis can be supplied as an ambient
unit.
